I believe that the Butter and Lesser gene are the same thing. Many will dispute this fact but having produced both I am convinced. All colour morphs can vary greatly in pattern and brightness and the Butter/ Lesser is no exception to that rule. In my morph listings you will see some listed as Butters and some as Lessers but in essence they are the same gene. I do however like the name ‘Butter’ better. Because as they say, everything goes better with Butter!
